Zambia: Opportunity to Invest in International Trade Fair

By allafrica.com/

Zambia plans to re-design and expand the land on which the Zambia International Trade Fair stands into a modern exhibition, entertainment and business centre. The proposed project is estimated to cost $250-million.

Project description: The trade fair and a 100 room hotel are located on 60 hectares of land in Ndola city in the Copperbelt province. However, only 30 hectares has so far been developed. The proposed public private partnership project seeks to re-develop the trade fair grounds into a modern exhibition, entertainment and business center. This could include establishing an Asian consumer product center that would provide consumer goods in the sub-region. On completion, the facilities would be used as Zambia's main business exhibition and trade center.
